History

The association was founded in 1977 under the name VSO - Vinduesproducenternes SamarbejdsOrganisation (The Danish Windows Manufactures Cooperation Society).


Important milestones:

  • 1992 Merging with sister organisation (FDV)

  • 2004 Establishing secretariat and employing a Director

  • 2005 Changed name to VinduesIndustrien (Association of Danish Window Manufacturers).
